Wedding Planning – First five items to arrange.

Planning a wedding involves numerous details, and having a checklist can help ensure everything is covered. Here’s a starting checklist for Australian brides, including choosing a celebrant:

1. Set a Budget (which can be reviewed.)

  • Estimate: Determine a preliminary budget, considering all aspects like venue, attire, catering, and photography.

  • Track Expenses: Use a spreadsheet or wedding planning app to keep track of all expenses and stay within budget.

2. Select a Wedding Venue

  • Estimate Guest Numbers: Whether you choose a back yard or commercial venue, have a rough estimate of the number of guests to ensure your venue can accommodate everyone.

  • Check Availability: Confirm the availability of your preferred venue on your wedding date/time.

3. Choose a Celebrant (Some are booked out 18 months ahead.) At Infinity Celebrancy we have a male and female authorised celebrant to choose from and we perform ceremonies in English, French and German. At Infinity Celebrancy we complete and lodge all paperwork for you. We take the stress out of your day!

4.  Attire for the Bride and Groom

  • Start Early: Begin shopping for your wedding dress and your groom’s attire several months in advance to allow time for fittings and alterations.

5. Book a wedding photographer and/or videographer.

  • Your choice: Choose a photographer who suits your vibe. Talk to your friends and family about who they’ve used and who might suit you best.

Having a checklist ensures that important aspects of your wedding are planned and run smoothly. Best of luck with your wedding planning! This checklist should get you started. Feel free to contact us if you want to know more at info@infinitycelebrancy.com.au

We would be honoured to help you!

Best Wishes, Anne & Greg xx
